Recital 2010

2011 Dates and Times to be Announced

All seating is first come, first served, and we ask that you refrain from taping off seats in advance. We get numerous complaints about this. If you have a special need, please let us know and we will make arrangements for you. We also ask that you stay in your seats for the entire show. It is very distracting to the other audience members who are trying to watch their children on stage when people are walking up and down the aisles throughout the performance.

There will be a $5.00 admission fee charged at the door; however, our dance families will receive a “family pass” that is good for all shows on Saturday. We will mail these to you in May.

DRESS REHEARSALS: Dana Auditorium, Queens University
Dress rehearsals are mandatory because it is the only opportunity for the dancers to be on the stage before the performance. At the dress rehearsal the children learn what to do at the actual performance and they practice on the stage in their costumes. Below is the schedule of the day for your actual dress rehearsal. Everyone does not come at the same time...the rehearsal is run in the order of the show for Saturday. You will be given an exact time to be there. Please be prompt so we can stay on schedule. 2011 dates and times to be announced.

PHOTOS: During the dress rehearsals, there will be a professional photographer set up in the lobby so that you can have individual photos taken of your dancer, if you choose. We will be taking group pictures during dress rehearsal as well, so please come prepared with all costume pieces, hair and make-up ready, etc. Your teachers will tell you how to do your hair and make-up for each dance.

DVD’s: The performances will be professionally videotaped and DVD’s will be available for purchase. We will give out order forms with the costumes and they will be available at the front desk and in the printed concert program.

FLOWERS: We will be presenting a flower to each dancer on stage at the end of each performance. We will also be selling flowers in the lobby if you wish to present flowers to a dancer. We will inform the local Harris Teeters that we have performances that Saturday so they can be prepared with a lot of flowers.
