Gina Dilello
Gina DiLello started her dancing career at the age of 4 in Hershey, Pennsylvania. After moving to Durham, North Carolina at the age of 11, she joined Nina’s School of Dance where she became a company dancers for 8 years. Upon graduating from high school, Gina attended Central Piedmont Community College where she danced for 6 semesters under Mary Ann Mee performing repertoire work from Charles Weidman. She later earned her Associates in Arts degree in 2011. She then was accepted into University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she auditioned and was selected for all four semesters to perform for the arts department. During her years at UNCC, she was also selected and given the honor of performing with The Martha Graham Company and the Urban Bush Women organizations. Gina was also a member of UNC Charlotte’s dance team The Gold Dusters for two years, performing and participating in various charity events. Gina graduated with her BFA in dance in December of 2013. After graduation Gina auditioned and became a Checkmate for the Charlotte Checkers AHL Hockey team during the 2014-2015 season. Gina is also a part of JMSD’s office staff and is their Summer Director. This isGina’s 3rd year teaching at JMSD and 2nd year as the Summer Director.
