Susan Thorsland PlazaSusan holds a BFA in Dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Dance from Florida State University. She received her Dance Education K-12 Certification from UNCC. She has performed and taught in Florida, New York, and North Carolina. Susan has served on the Board of Directors of the Asheville Ballet and Charlotte Youth Ballet, on the Education Committee of North Carolina Dance Theatre, and as the Department Chair and Ballet Faculty at Northwest School of the Arts. This is Susan's 27th year at JMSD where she teaches Company Ballet and Pointe and preschool classes. |
