Theater Dance
New to JMSD’s dance curriculum, Theatre Dance is a performance-based dance class focused on storytelling through movement and expression in dance.
Theatre Dance combines styles of dance, such as lyrical and musical theater, in a single class to train dancers in the art of storytelling through dance. This class is available to dancers in 7th grade or above. This class is fast-paced and runs similar to a masterclass. Our instructors, Nicole Buonocore, Alexis Harder, and Sterling Masters-Deeney, will rotate every three classes to give students a wide range of exposure to the many different styles of Theatre Dance.
